How to Assign Lead to Staff using Automation

 

Set a Trigger First

  •  

    Go to Workflow and create a new workflow.

  •  

    Set the trigger as Form Submission (or any other lead source).

Add Lead to Pipeline & Stage

In the next step, assign the lead to any Pipeline and Stage.

Go to Operation Tab → Operation Section → Add/Update to CRM

Assign Lead to Staff

  •  

    Go to Operation Tab → Operation Section → Assign to Staff.

  •  

    Select the staff from the staff list.

Round Robin & Distribution Options

  •  

    Split Traffic Evenly → Distributes leads equally among all staff.

  •  

    Split Traffic Unevenly → Assigns leads based on custom weights (e.g., more leads to one staff).

  •  

    "Only apply to unassigned contacts" Toggle → If enabled, It will only assign to unassigned leads

 

⚠️ Tip: Use Round Robin if you want a fair distribution of leads. For high-performing staff, you can set custom weights.

📌 Important Notes:

  •  

    Staff can only be assigned if the lead is in CRM → Opportunity.

  •  

    One lead can have multiple staff assigned.
